The 6th ITER International School (IIS-2012) is being organized by the Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar in collaboration with ITER-India (Indian Domestic Agency for ITER). The IIS-2012 will be held in Ahmedabad during 02-06 December 2012.

The theme of this year's school is "RF heating and current drives in plasmas".

The School will comprise of invited lectures delivered by leading international experts in the field and poster contributions from the participants.

The School is aimed at young scientists (post-docs/young faculty) and advanced PhD students. Participans should have had some prior exposure to fusion physics/technology.

 
Venue :

The School will be held at the Gateway Hotel, Ahmedabad which is located about 4 km from IPR and 1 km from the Ahmedabad airport.

Since the number of seats for the School is limited, particiants are requested to apply early by filling out the pre-registration form.

IPR Directors' Dinner :

On behalf of the Director, Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) and Project-Director, ITER India, a special Dinner will be hosted for ITER School Lecturers and Participants at IPR Lawns on 4th Dec 2012 starting 20.00 hrs.
